These terms apply specifically to the ACC Author Business Setup Intensive and the associated monthly ACC subscription. They supplement our general Website Terms and Privacy Policy. If anything here conflicts with the general terms for this specific service, these terms control.
The ACC Author Business Setup Intensive ("Setup Intensive") is a done-for-you setup and guided handoff of your Author Command Center. We configure the core infrastructure of your author business inside the ACC platform, connect the essential pieces, test the systems, and hand off a working command center you and/or your assistant can use.
The Setup Intensive is an implementation service. It is not the sale of software alone, and it is not a marketing agency, advertising, ghostwriting, or copywriting service.
The core Setup Intensive includes configuration of items such as: ACC account configuration; business/author profile setup; custom values and links; reader list import; email and domain authentication and related DNS assistance; tags and segments; reader magnet delivery; core opt-in, funnel, and page setup using templates; launch workflow infrastructure; ARC/review workflows; reader follow-up workflows; direct sales setup support; basic third-party links and connections; social/ad reporting connections where available; custom dashboard setup; testing and QA; a kickoff call; an optional mid-setup check-in if needed; a handoff/training call; and a 30-day stabilization period.
Unless separately agreed in writing, the Setup Intensive does not include: custom copywriting; advertising setup, management, or strategy; full custom website design or build; full launch strategy or promotional planning; unrelated third-party troubleshooting; complex or large-scale data migrations; custom-coded integrations; multi-pen-name or custom operational builds; unlimited meetings or support; or any guarantee of revenue, sales, reviews, or other outcomes.
Work beyond the standard scope — including additional pen names or author brands, small press or collective operations, complex migrations, major data cleanup, full website builds, ad management, custom marketing strategy, highly custom workflows, advanced multi-brand dashboards, or custom/coded integrations — may require a separate scope quote or ACC Custom Implementation.
The Setup Intensive consists of a one-time setup fee plus an ongoing monthly ACC subscription.
The setup fee covers your first 30 days of ACC access. Your first monthly subscription payment of $297 will be automatically charged exactly 30 days after your registration date, regardless of where setup stands. Subsequent payments continue on the same 30-day cycle. All amounts are in U.S. dollars and are subject to applicable taxes and payment processing fees.
You may pay the setup fee in full at $1,500, or split it into two payments of $850 each. Because the payment plan spreads the fee over time, the payment plan total is higher than the pay-in-full rate. If you choose the payment plan, remaining setup payments remain due according to the payment schedule once kickoff or intake begins (see Refund Policy).
Setup typically takes 2–4 weeks, depending on your responsiveness, the timely delivery of assets and access, and project complexity. To keep implementation on schedule, you agree to provide requested information, files, and platform/account access in a timely manner and to attend the kickoff and handoff calls.
Kickoff and/or intake should occur within the first 14 days after purchase unless the delay is caused by ACC. Delays caused by the Client may extend the timeline.
After setup is complete, you receive a 30-day stabilization period. Stabilization covers reasonable bug fixes, workflow corrections, implementation cleanup, and guidance related to the systems configured during setup. It does not include unlimited strategy, unlimited copywriting, new funnel creation, or unrelated technical support. Requests beyond stabilization scope may require a separate scope quote.
Because the Setup Intensive includes personalized implementation and backend configuration, all Setup Intensive clients agree to a minimum 3-month subscription commitment after setup. The monthly subscription may not be canceled during this minimum period. After the minimum period, the monthly subscription may be canceled as described in Section 10.
By enrolling, you agree to a minimum 3-month monthly subscription commitment after setup is complete.
The setup fee is refundable before kickoff or intake begins, minus payment processing fees. To keep implementation moving, kickoff and/or intake must occur within 14 days of purchase unless the delay is caused by ACC.
Once kickoff or intake begins, implementation work has started and the setup fee becomes non-refundable.
If you choose the payment plan, your first payment is refundable before kickoff or intake begins, minus processing fees. Once kickoff or intake begins, payments already made are non-refundable, and any remaining setup payments are still due according to the payment plan schedule.
Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable. The monthly subscription is subject to the 3-month minimum commitment (Section 8) and the cancellation terms in Section 10.
The monthly subscription bills automatically each month using your payment method on file, beginning with your first payment 30 days after registration. That first payment is month 1 of your 3-month minimum commitment, so your minimum commitment is satisfied 3 months after your first monthly charge, not 3 months after setup is complete. After the 3-month minimum commitment has been met, you may cancel your monthly subscription with 30 days' written notice. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not refund amounts already charged. Upon cancellation, your access to the ACC platform and configured systems ends at the close of your final paid period.
The ACC platform is built on and operates using Go High Level (HighLevel) and integrates with various third-party services and tools (which may include, for example, email/domain providers, payment processors, and reader/sales platforms). These third-party platforms are controlled by their respective providers and are subject to their own terms, availability, pricing, features, and changes. ACC is not responsible for outages, changes, deprecations, deliverability results, or policy changes made by third-party providers. ACC does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any third-party service.
Your business data and reader contacts remain yours. You may export your contact list and business data. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right and appropriate consent to import, store, and email the contacts you provide, and for compliance with applicable anti-spam and privacy laws. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups; we recommend a regular backup routine, which we can outline during onboarding.
The Setup Intensive and the ACC platform may include AI-assisted, human-guided support — for example, templates, prompts, and draft frameworks that help turn your book details, reader journeys, launch needs, ARC/review process, and promotional ideas into organized systems and campaign starting points faster. AI is used as a drafting and implementation aid, not as a replacement for your voice, strategy, or judgment. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-assisted content before it is used or sent. ACC does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated drafts and does not warrant any particular result from AI-assisted materials.
Support is limited to the configured ACC systems, implementation-related questions, bug fixes, workflow corrections, reasonable setup cleanup, handoff-related help, and platform access or core issue support. It does not include unlimited one-on-one support, ongoing strategy, unrelated third-party support, or virtual assistant services. Standard support requests are typically answered within 1–2 business days during business hours.
ACC provides implementation and systems setup. We do not guarantee any specific level of sales, revenue, reviews, list growth, launch performance, or other business outcomes. Results depend on many factors outside our control, including your books, market, pricing, audience, and your own use of the systems we set up.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ACC's total liability arising out of or related to the Setup Intensive is limited to the amount you paid for the setup fee. ACC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits or lost data, arising from the service or from any third-party platform.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs your Setup Intensive. Material changes affecting active clients will be communicated where reasonably practical.
